Dodge-a-palooza!

Fan of the movie DODGEBALL?  Been keen to try it out?  How about return to your childhood recess days of dodgeball in gym class?  Or maybe you’re already a dodgeball aficionado and want additional ways to play?

Whatever floats your boat, we’ve got the event for you!  Join us at DODGE-A-PALOOZA!

WHAT IS DODGE-A-PALOOZA?!
Dodge-a-palooza is your opportunity to be part of a night of smiles, laughter, sweet beats, fun people and a smashing good time!  

Imagine….

• fancy dress (if you dare!...see below for details)
• traditional dodgeball games with our Urban Rec rules
• rule-bender games (SURPRISE rules on the day)
• new friends
• sweet prizes
• a stage where bystanders can watch your moves on the court as you show off the 5 D’s of Dodgeball (and if you don’t know what they are….show up to find out!!!) 
• Urban Rec beer garden (and option to BYO)

Already playing in the league?! → AWESOME!  Here is your opportunity to have some fun outside of the league.  It’s our special way of saying THANK YOU to give you an extra day of play!

Not playing in the league?! → No problems!  No experience is needed to join this event and we’ll teach you the rules!  This is a great chance to learn before our Autumn season starts!

BEST PART → IT’S FREE!!!!!  Registration is REQUIRED so we have an idea of numbers.  So feel free to bring along your friends as well!  

FANCY DRESS = ”I’m Glad I’m Not...”
Want to participate in Fancy Dress on the night of DODGE-A-PALOOZA?!  SWEET!!!!  The theme for DODGE-A-PALOOZA is “I’m Glad I’m Not _____.”  So fun!  Come as someone or something you are glad you are not!

GET CREATIVE!  Need some inspiration?!  Here are some suggestions:

• A rival school
• A __________ fan
• A thunderstorm → this is what Urban Rec thinks!  No more rain!  
• Donald Trump (I’m American so I can say this….)
• Etc → the ideas are ENDLESS!
